All of our attorneys have the necessary knowledge, skill and expertise to successfully represent the interests of motorcyclists. Our attorneys and staff will engage the services of investigators, accident reconstruction specialists, economists, and any medical and forensic experts necessary in order to represent you successfully. |
| As motorcyclists, we are all aware that whether you are riding a super bike, Harley, Sports bike or chopper, you are often at risk of being injured as a result of the negligence of other drivers. How many times have you heard, “ I never saw the motorcycle” from drivers who claim they failed to see a motorcyclist on our roads and highways? |
| The injuries caused to motorcyclists by the negligence of inattentive drivers often result in bone fractures, scarring, serious head injuries, back and spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, brain damage, skin burns, comas, facial scarring, body fractures, neck injuries and paralysis as well as fatalities. These injuries almost always result when the rider and/or passenger on a motorcycle is ejected after being hit by a motor vehicle. Non-fatal injuries usually result in longer periods of rehabilitation due to their severity. Our experienced attorneys will fight for compensation not only for the medical bills resulting from such injuries, but also for loss of income as well as pain and suffering. Who better to know what a fellow motorcyclist has endured as a result of a tragic accident through no fault of his or her own than a motorcycle attorney and fellow rider? |
| In most states, including Georgia, a great majority of the motorists only have minimal liability insurance coverage to pay for property damage, injuries and death which result from their own negligence. Since most motorcycle accidents are caused by the negligence of someone other than the motorcyclist, uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage is essential to compensate the motorcyclist for his/her property damage and injuries resulting there from. We recommend a minimum of $100,000.00 in uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage and $50,000.00 in medical payments coverage on your motorcycle. You should note even that amount will be insufficient if your injuries are very serious in nature, such as those requiring surgery, or resulting in permanent disability and/or disfigurement. You should therefore, consider purchasing uninsured/underinsured coverage in excess of the $100,000.00 minimum. |

WHAT TO DO IN THE EVENT YOU ARE INVOLVED IN A MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT
2. Obtain contact information from all witnesses in the event that they leave before the police arrive. 3. Remember that shock can accompany a collision and can cloud your judgment. Therefore, you should say nothing, or say as little as possible about the accident to the police and other drivers. 4. Shock also masks injuries, so go to the emergency room immediately from the scene of the accident, so you can obtain appropriate diagnostic tests. 5. Notify your insurance company. 6. Contact one of our motorcycle attorneys immediately.
